Ethan Helmer, Rebuilding Together Twin Cities volunteer and the son of our Office Manager Silva, recently created a short documentary about the people we serve.

Ethan said of the documentary: “I had to create a documentary for English 12 about a group that is suffering from a violation of their 30 human rights (as listed in the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights). I chose to do my documentary about low-income families because of the volunteer work that I have done with Rebuilding Together, and because most people do not know that low-income is a status of people that is being disadvantaged due to the country’s focus on impoverished people instead.”
