Household and Outside Maintenance for Elderly (H.O.M.E.)

Provides reliable and affordable homemaking, minor repairs, exterior home maintenance, interior and exterior painting, yard work, lawn mowing, and snow removal.  Services are provided on a sliding fee basis to help seniors remain in their homes in dignity and safety.  H.O.M.E. Lutheran Social Service:  Senior Companions & Foster Grandparents

Senior Companions provide support to help other seniors live independent lives.  Please call 1-888-205-3770 for services in your area. If you would like to become a Senior Companion or Foster Grandparent volunteer, call 651-310-9440 to request an application (55+).

Merrick Community Services

Provides indoor/outdoor chore services to people with disabilities, Meals on Wheels delivery to seniors and people with disabilities, and food shelf services to low-income residents. Metro Meals on Wheels

The Association of over 35 Meals on Wheels programs in the Twin Cities metro works to make sure people in our community receive the nutritious meals and the human connection they need to help them live independently.  612-623-3363.

RSVP Volunteer Program

Identifies volunteer opportunities for people 55 and over, that meet their individual skills, interests, schedule and geographic availability. RSVP partners with local nonprofits to provide volunteer help to meet critical community needs.  612-617-7833.

Trust Chore Program
